Our whole-twig hojicha is crafted from carefully selected tea twigs sourced from Kyoto, Japan, gently roasted to create a smooth, comforting cup with warm nutty notes and natural sweetness. Naturally low in caffeine and exceptionally mellow, this Japanese roasted green tea is designed for slow evenings, mindful moments, and everyday indulgence.

Ingredients

Whole-twig Hojicha (Japanese roasted green tea)

Brewing Instructions

  • Take 2 to 3 g of hojicha twigs and add 150 ml of hot water just below boiling point (85 - 90°C).
  • Allow the tea to steep gently for 1–2 minutes.
  • Strain and enjoy warm. The twigs can be re-steeped once for a lighter second cup.
  • For a hojicha latte, brew a stronger cup using half the amount of water, then add warm or frothed milk of your choice and sweeten lightly, if you like.
